When I was little, my brothers and sisters and I spent many hours with my grandfather. He was a great storyteller and we children would sit at his feet, quiet as mice and listen to his amazing stories.

Easter Bunnies
While I was out walking yesterday enjoying the spring sunshine, I suddenly heard strange muffled noises coming from the bushes by the way. There was laughing and giggling and then I heard voices humming a melody. I bent down, pushing the branches aside and peered in and then I saw them – Bunnies!
Crazy juggling!
Looking for an idea for a different Easter gift (yes, I’ve already thought of it – finally everything has to be crocheted – and that takes time), I found a very interesting page: Crochet Sphere Calculator – an invention of Alexander Avtanski.
Valentine’s day
Love is the feeling that joins two souls and brings the hearts together. Express your feelings to your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day. Put your love letter in a romantic envelope and it will be a wonderful gift!
Thank you!
An exciting and beautiful year comes to an end. In September, I wrote the first entry in my blog and from the beginning I got great support from my readers.
The nice comments and friendly mails have been delighted me – and at the same time they have been inspiration and motivation.
A very special thanks go to Nic Jennings, she has helped me with the English language on my blog! I thank you all and wish you a peaceful Christmas and a beautiful time together with your loved ones .
I found a quote from Alice in Wonderland, which I think it might fit to the end of the year:
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
“That depends on where you want to go to”, responded the Cheshire Cat.
“I don’t much care where …”, Alice answered
“Then”, said the Cat, “it doesn’t matter which way you go.”
It would be really great, if you follow me again in the New Year! There will be beautiful and new instructions and short stories.
I wish you all the best for the new year and love and many great moments. Good luck, health and happiness in the coming year for you and your loved ones.
Love, Karin
Smart Cats
“Cats are smarter than dogs. You can’t get eight cats to pull a sled through snow.” Jeff Valdez.
After I read that, I wanted to check it out for myself. “Mailiiiiin” I shouted, “call the dogs, we need to find out something.” Mailin whistled for the dogs and we tied them to the sledge.
As expected, they pulled the sledge obediently through the snow.

Neues Zuhause gesucht
These two adorable puppies are called Amberlee and Maya. They came to me a week ago. So far no owner has registered, so I decided to find a new home for them. They are about 7 inches tall.
Amberlee is very curious and Maya is rather quiet and in need of a joke. Both love to go for a walk – preferably on a keychain.
