Mr. Peabody is a businessman, inventor, scientist, Nobel Prize winner, gourmet, two-time Olympic champion and a very smart … dog!
He adopts the human Sherman, brings him up as his son and shows him all his inventions. There is one very special invention – a time machine – Mr. Peabody and Sherman travel back in time to see important moments of world history.
But Sherman breaks the rules of time travel, and the two of them end up in a turbulent race to repair the past again – and thereby save the future.
It really is a very appealing father-son story and shows that, despite getting so much right in most things, you can still make terrible mistakes when it comes to feelings.
You get to meet Shakespeare, Lincoln, Van Gogh and Albert Einstein and travel to ancient Egypt, to Troy … and you will see thrilling action scenes and beautifully drawn characters. I thought this movie was very funny and entertaining.
Of course, I immediately fell in love with the unusual and brilliant dog! My Mr. Peabody has grown big, very big, an XXL Amigurumi 11,81 inches long. I had a lot of fun designing the figure, and I hope you have as much fun reworking it!

Thank you SO much for sharing your creation / pattern.
He looks great, thank you Debbie for sharing your picture of your Mr. Peabody with me!
What do the numbers on the right side of each row mean?
Hello Helen, these numbers are the numbers of stitches in this round. If you start with 6 x sc, you find 6. Then I double the number of stitches with 6 x inc and you will find the number 12. Have fun crocheting!
Mr. Peabody is a special dog and you made a great crocheted mr. Peabody. He looks smart and funny. Thanks for sharing this pattern.
Thank you, Margaret, I had so much fun designing Mr. Peabody. Have a lot of fun also while crocheting!
I absolutely love your Mr Peabody! Any plans on making Sherman?
