Nessie sighted – in Greece :)
My niece saw on television a report about the Loch Ness monster in Scotland and she was fascinated by the story: Nessie is a monster that, despite many efforts, nobody was able to find it and there are still speculations as to whether it really exists.

Little nurses
Nina, my friend gave me a small Amigurumi nurse. I wanted to test Nina’s pattern and publish it here, but somehow I changed almost everything – except the patterns for arms and legs, which are original by Nina ♥ Without her idea this little nurse would not be here – so I thank her with all my heart for the inspiration and lovely gift.
Teddy is back
In October 2013 I was crocheting a Teddy for a small crochet group here in Soufli. I had just begun to write my own patterns and the Teddy was one of my first designs. I wrote this pattern with symbols, because my Greek was still very poor and also it was easier to understand for the women who did not speak English.
Little House on the Prairie
As a child I loved the series “Little House on the Prairie”. The plot is quickly told: It’s about the American farmer family Ingalls, 1878 they pack their belongings on a horse cart to look for a new home and end up in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. The couple (Charles u. Caroline) and their three daughters (Mary, Laura and Carrie) struggle with the forces of nature and survive some illnesses. However, they have to work hard and the kids get annoyed by bratty Nellie Oleson.
Everything your dog needs
Have you ever tried to crochet around a rope? You just need a rope and a not too thin yarn and you are ready to get started. You have to crochet around the rope in spiral rounds. I have used for my Baskets a thick rope and a package cord – and they have become incredibly stable.
A dog for Emily ♥
Emily goes for a walk

The flu was overcome relatively quickly, but I still felt tired, without energy and listless. my body went on strike and I could not do anything against it. I was sad, because my goal this year was and still is: to get fit and lose a few kilos.
Emily, the Dress up Doll
When I was 5 years old, I got a wonderful Christmas present – a Barbie. I was the happiest girl in the world! I loved the doll and the clothes and the accessories fascinated me. I had a only a few dresses and shoes, but I had a lot of ideas and so I tinkered her clothes from tissues. Or I made a veil out of it, picked some daisies and I had a bride!
